The latest pottying challenges inspired me to create “Diapers Are For the Birds” as, well, inspiration, which we all need from time to time through our parenting lives. Although my son has been pottied pratically since day one, his signals have always been more difficult to read than his sister’s and his motivations more baffling. I am still pleased than he comes and tells me when he has wet a diaper or when he has begun a poop. At the same time, I can’t help but remember his sister was done with dipes before age two. It’s all about giving opportunity and sharing communication. It’s all about giving opportunity and sharing communication. It’s all about giving opportunity and sharing communication.
